Smart Walk is a research study conducted by Arizona State University.  The purpose is to increase physical activity and improve the health of Black women in the Phoenix area.

Smart Walk

Smart Walk is a 12-month research study comparing 2 different smartphone-delivered physical activity programs.

The study is funded by the National Institutes of Health/National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NIH/NHLBI).

Smart Walk is RECRUITING!!

Black women between the ages of 24-65 who do not currently exercise may be eligible to participate. 

Participants receive a smartphone-delivered physical activity program, Fitbit, and up to $150.

Participation is voluntary.
